Flashback Quilt pattern by Dora Cary for Orange Dot Quilts FLSHBCK-018

From my childhood, I fondly remember a warm winter coat with a woven fabric that, as well as I can recall, was a mix between Herringbone and hound's Tooth. Flashback is my attempt to recreate that woven pattern in a supersized way. The beautiful fabrics I used are from the Gretta collection by Quilting Treasures but many other fabrics can work. The large pieces of this pattern work beautifully with large print fabrics but, to maintain balance, mix in some small and medium prints, too, and also solids.
