Prior to Class

• Purchase The Archie Backpack Pattern by Knot & Thread Design
• Gather the list of supplies
• Quilt the main and lining fabric
• Cut out the fabric pieces as directed the pattern

Materials and Supplies

Main Fabric - 42" wide - 1 yard

Lining - 42" wide – 1 yard

Accent (handles, binding, pockets, straps) - 42" wide – 1 yard

Fusible Interfacing - 20" wide - 1/4 yard (Pellon SF101)

Soft & Stable Foam Stabilizer - 58" wide - 1 yard (byAnnie’s Soft & Stable recommended)

Zipper (#5 Nylon coil handbag zipper)- (1) 30" Double-slide Handbag Zipper, (1) 12” Handbag Zipper

1 ½” Handle Webbing (polypro strapping) – 3 yards

Hardware – (2) 1 ½” Sliders (Strap Adjusters), (2) 1 ½” Rectangle Rings
